Electric Car Conversion Efficiency

Converting an existing car to electric not only saves money, it also saves the environment. Whenever a new car is produced there are excess materials going into the foam for new seats, fabrics and leather for upholstery, plastics and metals for the body, rubber for the tires, and circuitry for the radio and other components.

The majority of environmentally harmful materials use to produce a new car become redundant as an old car is disposed of, or worse, left to drive on the road under a new owner as it's gas engine becomes less and less efficient and more and more harmful to the environment (we've all driven behind that old timer on the road and smelled it's rotting engine).

On average, it takes the equivalent of two years worth of driving time in a new (more efficient) car to simply offset the waste in redundant materials used to produce that car in the first place.
